Athiri is a holistic community organizing school where we unite to heal, learn, and build the world of our dreams.
Meet Jecorey
Jecorey Arthur is a lifelong resident of the West End of Louisville, educator, and musician who made history as Louisville’s youngest city councilman. A classically trained percussionist and conscious hip-hop artist, Jecorey’s career has always used arts and culture as a tool for justice. During his Metro Council term he helped lead campaigns and passed legislation centered on housing, peace, and equity. Today, Jecorey blends his lived experiences along with his experiences in government, education, and the arts to build people power.
